Interest Groups are at the heart of the u3a. Ours are run by members and there is no fixed format. Some Groups meet in a room at the Methodist Church, some in members’ homes and one in the local pub!
There is no charge, unless a payment is needed towards the cost of room hire or an instructor.
Due to their popularity, some of our Groups are not taking new members. If this is the case with the Groups you would like to join, please think about setting up your own Group. You don't need to be an expert, just an enthusiast. It's a great way of making new friends who share your enthusiasm. Anyone wishing to do this will always be encouraged and supported. Contact our Interest Groups Coordinator via the Contacts page for help with this.
