We have been playing for several years now and have ten enthusiastic regular members, two of whom were complete beginners when they joined. We are fortunate to have an experienced leader in Mary Lamming-Stone, an ex-County guitar teacher. We play a mixture of music, songs where we ‘strum and sing’ and pieces where we play the melody and add harmony. Whatever music we play, we aim both to enjoy ourselves and to learn something new.

In the past we have performed Christmas concerts for the u3a and one at the Shakespeare Hospice. In 2022 we enjoyed a couple of successful gigs in Bidford and also played at the u3a's special September Open Day in the Town Hall ballroom. The Town Clerk so enjoyed our playing that she invited us to play as part of the town's official Christmas celebrations.

There are spaces available, but we unable to take complete beginners. If you are interested, please contact our group coordinator via this website.
