Meeting: Fourth Thursday of the month from 10 to 11.30am in Rosel's home.

Our group was created in 2022 as Refresh your German was full. Rosel, our native speaker, helps us with pronunciation and style. We now have the maximum number of members. However a new "German Conversation" group has recently been set up for those who simply want to chat in German without correction. Contact this group via the coordinator.

At each session we come prepared to talk in German about anything that is currently interesting us. We don't have a prescribed topic, which we like, as we never know what is going to crop up. The variety is astonishing. We all chip in with comments and questions, and grammar only crops up when needed. It seems to work well. We receive splendid hospitality from Rosel, who makes great coffee and flapjacks. We enjoy her beautiful garden in summer and her log fires when the weather turns cold.
